Whitepaper is one of London’s fastest-growing design and build firms, recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the UK’s fastest-growing private companies. As the business entered a new chapter, the brand needed to reflect the scale, confidence and calibre of the work behind it.

Having first worked with Whitepaper in 2021, when the business was still in its startup phase, the identity we created no longer reflected what it had grown into. It needed to move beyond those early beginnings, stand apart in a traditionally conservative market and build greater trust with landlords, developers and commercial stakeholders. Guided by the idea Understated. Unmistakable., we created a more refined brand world that reaffirmed Whitepaper’s place in the market and reflected the business it had become. An identity with generous space and a rich tonal palette gave them greater depth, while a flexible system allowed Whitepaper’s architectural work to remain the focus across its website, documents, site hoardings and social channels.
The result was not a louder Whitepaper, but a clearer one, with a brand presence that finally matched the quality of its work and could support the next decade of growth.
To launch the new identity and website, we developed a three-week campaign across social and digital touchpoints, building recognition before the full reveal. During launch week, website traffic increased by 1,241%, unique visitors rose by 1,225% and the new site received 2.9K page views. Seventy per cent of first-hour traffic came directly to the website, showing that people were actively waiting for the launch, with visits also converting into new email sign-ups.
The identity continues to support Whitepaper across high-value project pitches, internal communications and its ongoing growth in the London market.
